Configurable Test Measurements

Custom Measurements to work with your Equipment Types

One of the strengths of FASTtag Professional Edition is the ability to add Equipment Types, to extend FASTtag Professional Edition to test other types of Equipment, outside the requirements of AS3760.

Additional Equipment Types added could include electrical assets such as Microwave Ovens and Exit Lights, and also non-electrical assets such as Scaffolding, Climbing Equipment and Rigging Equipment.

In many cases, it will be desirable to also record measurements each time the custom equipment is tested. For example, if Exit Lights are being tested, you may want to record the number of minutes the Exit Light can run on battery with loss of mains supply.

The Custom Measurement defined can be configured with the following attributes

• Measurement Name
• Value type (e.g. decimal number, integer, pass/fail)
• Unit of Measurement
• Equipment Type to which the measurement relates

With custom Measurement Types, FASTtag Professional Edition can be extended to suit your business and test requirements.
